Wasabi-chan, the adorable kitten in the mushroom costume didn’t make it, but her legacy continues through a rescued kitten named Ichimi
After the horrific crow attack that happened to Wasabi-chan, she was rescued by good people and helped her recover. The cute kitten in mushroom costume captured the hearts of many people and became one of the beloved cats on the internet. She gained weight, started to grew healthier and stronger. But last August, her sudden passing left a lot of people heartbroken.
Wasabi-chan died surrounded by people who cares and loves her so much. Her owner has decided to keep the kitten’s memory alive by opening her heart and home to another cat in need. Her owner, Jessiepon recently introduced the world to Ichimi, a tiny tabby with the face of an angel. Through photos released on Wasabi-chan’s Instagram account, we’ve learned that the kitten was abandoned by her mother, and is gaining weight steadily through bottle-feeding. Little Ichimi was quickly accepted by the furry and feathered members of Jessiepon’s home, including Ponzu the Golden Retriever. The guardian and loveable dog who took care of Wasabi-chan. The pup was heartbroken from Wasabi’s death but has showered Ichimi with love, kisses and cuddles.
Wasabi can never be replaced, but little Ichimi the rescued kitty is giving the much need comfort to the grieving family and fans. We hope and wish much love and a long healthy life to Ichimi.
